    Let us understand each of these Six projects in Short.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • NAVI MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      It is an International Airport Being Constructed in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      It will be the second Airport of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with existing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      It\u2019s been built by City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The Ongoaing Construction was started in August 2021, and is likely to be operational by 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       It is  expected to serve 90 Mn passengers per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • MUMBAI TRANS HARBOUR LINK<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        The Mumbai\u2019s trans harbor link, also known as the Sewri \u2013 Nhava Sheva Trans Harbour Link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        It is said to be a Six lane, 21.8 km freeway (Longest sea bridge in India) which will connect Mumbai with Navi Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The Construction was started in 24 April 2018 and to be completed by early 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The bridge will begin in Sewri, South Mumbai while crossing the Thane Creek north of Elephanta Island and will terminate at Chirle, near Nhava Sheva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • PARSIL TUNNEL<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Proposed 8 km (3km in Tunnel) road to connect Thane \u2013 Belapur road from Turbe to Kharghar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          It is a part of the Central Line, it will bypasses the Kalwa and Mumbra railway stations, making it a fast line between Thane and Diva Junction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • VIRAR \u2013 ALIBAUG MULTIMODAL CORRIDOR<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            It is 126 km road with multiple interchange nodes with highways connecting Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Agra, Pune & Goa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The Corridor is proposed to be commissioned in two phases, Phase I \u2013 being from Navghar to Chirner near JNPT (About 79 km) & Phase II \u2013 will begin from Chirner to Alibaug (about 47 km).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • NAVI MUMBAI COASTAL ROAD<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              It is 29.2 km road (To be constructed in 2 phases) to connect Kharghar to Amra Margand \u2013 The Water Terminal in Nerul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              The first phase of the coastal road is being built by the Brihanmumbai Muncipal Corporation (BMC) at an estimated cost of Rs 12,500 crores to speed up the suburban commute to and from South Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • WATER TAXI SERVICE<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                A new mode of transport to connect Mumbai and Navi Mumbai and reduce travel time to 40 mins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) and Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) floated proposals to restart hovercraft services from CBD Belapur to reduce travel time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
